Good Day All!

This is my blog for EDU 333. Child and Adolescent Literacy and Literature. Throughout the semester, I will read and evaluate several picture books and graphic novels in a variety of genres. These evaluations are based on Donna Norton's characteristics of high quality literature (Norton, D.2011). Mini lessons will be developed based on a literary element of the writers craft. The target audience will be a reading buddy who is in the first grade and will remain anonymous. Most of the selected readings will contain social justice related themes.
