Summary: Knuffle Bunny Too, A Case of Mistaken Identity By Mo Willems is another book about children having difficulties with one another and overcoming them with a great friendship as the result. I am starting to see a trend with Mr. Willem's books. Three out of four have dealt with this issue with three of them resulting in the same scenario; rivals become best friends. This is the first of two I will be reviewing in the Knuffle Bunny series. Both of which combine illustrations and real pictures within the story.

Knuffle Bunny Too is about two girls who come to school expecting to show off their one of a kind stuffed bunny, but upon arriving at school they realize that they both have the same toy bunny and the battle ensues. So much so that their arguing results in having their bunny's taken away until the end of the school day. However, when the bunny's are returned to the girls, they each get the others bunny. A middle of the night phone call between the girls parents results in a late night rendezvous to get the right bunny to the right girl and subsequently, some rest for the girls and their parents.

The pictures in the book depict rows of houses attached to each other and there appears to be a bustling city. There are boys and girls from many different ethnicity's and family backgrounds. The book tells a real story with a real solution to a real problem. The pictures and illustrations display a diverse population in a real community and families working together. For these reasons, this book meets the requirements of high quality literature set forth by Norton (2011).
